Almost Done!!!

I am so excited that school is almost over. This semester has proven to be one of the biggest challenges of my college career. I have had a million and one projects due with little time to do them. I have worked so hard and I am really proud of myself.

I look forward to next semester's challenges and all I will accomplish in the next few months.

It feels so great...

To be a TITANS fan!!!

It's nice to have something to be excited about when the economy is so bad. I think sports are a special case when it comes to the economy. If you take a look back in time, sports are recession-proof. Even during The Great Depression, baseball flourished in America. It's an amazing thing that something such as going to a game is so expensive, yet people will manage to spend their last dollar to make it happen.

I just thought that was interesting :)

Annoying...

I think it's incredibly annoying that people claim to be Blue Raider fans and don't come to any games.

MTSU would be a lot better if we had some FANS IN THE STANDS!!!

We are the largest university in Tennessee, yet we cannot get more than 20 students at a basketball game. We're a good team! We just need some student and faculty support.

Annoying...

COME ON!!!

Time

It is amazing to me that this semester is about to start winding down. It seems like it just started! With so much going on, time has really flown by.

I think the time perspective of a student is so different than the rest of society. Students have a way of prioritizing that amazes me. Somehow we make time for school, work, mom and dad, and then social time on top of that.

We should seriously get an award for the way we handle it all. Not to mention we're broke! Which adds another interesting spin on our lives.

Here's to you student with no time, no money, and a lot of stress.

When it rains, it pours

I hate complaining but I need to just get it out!

Nothing has come easy lately. It just seems like everytime I turn around, something else has gone wrong.

School--ehh--sooo much work and so demanding

Work--even crazier with deadlines quickly approaching

Health--broken arm, sis has been in and out of the hospital

Overall--I'm good... Just trucking along

My birthday is Sunday which is exciting.. If I can make it until then...I can but it just feels like I'm going to fall over any minute.

Anyway, when it rains... it pours--in my life at least.

PEACE

Election Fear

Well, as we get closer to the election, I become more and more worried about the future. Withthe implementation of "celebrity voting" I think voters are more interested in voting for a candidate who has the most celebrity.

Let's face it, either candidate is going to have a hell of a time getting us out of this ecenomic mess, not to mention a war!

What I'm trying to express is that fact that I am still undecided on my vote for the next U.S. president. This is my first time voting in a presidential election and to be quite honest, I'm scared as hell

ALL IN

Its amazing how one split second in your day can make it or break it. That moment came for me about an hour ago when MTSU won a game that no one saw coming.

Everything that could go wrong for me at work went wrong today. The icing on the cake would have been for MTSU to lose. At the final moment when the time clock said 00:00 we caught the ball and tied the game up.

Amazing.

My entire day flipped upside down and somehow I found the energy to jump and scream like I had just won the lottery.

Tonight I realized I have some kind of emotional attachment to my job that involves MTSU's wins and losses.

I am... ALL IN

Whirlwind

It seems that the semester comes in phases. The first few weeks of school were not that busy but now it seems like everything is happening in one week!

I need a serious break.

the TIME factor

How is it that I never have any time? I find myself lying awake in bed sometimes just thinking, "Where did my day go?"

I am very good at managing my time and money, but still, I am so busy I never have "a day off."

Hopefully this semester will slow down some after my first round of tests and papers. It seems like after that, school becomes more routine.

Roller Coaster

It seems that the life of a student is a roller coaster. You start in elementary and work up until high school until the year of graduation. As a senior in high school, you can live the fabulous life on top and count down the days until graduation. Then you graduate and go to college. You're back on the bottom as a freshman.

The next four years-sometimes longer- are a challenge. You have to learn the big adjustments of moving on your own and being out from mom and dad's wings. This is when you will learn more than you ever learned in grade school. You climb so far and work so hard to make good grades and have a little fun when time allows, but your focus is once again graduation.

As a senior in college, you have put in time in your classes but now it's time to "put in the time." Even though you're almost done with college, let's face it, you're on the bottom in the real world.

To me, "putting in the time" means doing things you wouldn't normally do in your daily life in order to put yourself a step ahead of your competitors. These are things like interning, going to seminars, putting together resumes' and working on your interviewing skills. Of course none of these things are fun, but you know it's necessary.

"The Fabulous Life" is the life of someone who is trying to do all they can do to set themself apart from the rest. This life is by no means glamorous, but this the life of thousands of college students nationwide.

I live...the fabulous life.
